From Pawfect Paws Mobile Spa to Rosie's Pawfect Paws, it's been an incredible journey, starting as a mobile dog groomer to finally having my own static grooming salon in Stewartby, Bedfordshire.
The idea...
We moved to Stewartby in November 2022 and fully expected to continue with the mobile spa however having worked in my friend's salon in Hemel Hempstead whilst I continued to build up customers in and around Bedfordshire I decided to instead pursue a dream of having my own static grooming salon.
So, in early 2023 I decided to bite the bullet and started the order for my own grooming salon.
The garden conversion...
The garden in our new home was slopped which as you can imagine isn't great when you're thinking of what I can only describe as a small bedroom being planted in it.
The 14ft patio was officially done around May 2023 well in time for the grooming salon delivery date expected at the end of June.
They even managed to install a drain to the side of the house so the bath water could drain away with ease.
Delivery day...
Delivery day came around thick and fast and I didn't know whether I should be overjoyed or terrified at the thought of the grooming salon that I'd been waiting for, for the last few months dangling over the top of my neighbor's garden.
Thankfully it all went according to the plan and it was safely in! The opening date was set for 04th July!
I've had an incredible reception from the whole community and am overwhelmed with all those getting in contact to book.
At the time of writing this, we've been open for one whole week with so many more weeks ahead of the new venture.
